Spray with clean water. Try several different cleaners to find which one works best on the particular stain for your siding. 70 water 30 white vinegar makes a great all purpose vinyl siding cleaner that removes light mold and mildew stains. Rinse the solution off of the vinyl starting from the top so the water will run downward.

Apply it allow it to bubble and then brush it off with a wet scrub brush or sponge. Moisten the area with water and then scrub it using the cleaning solution. For tough spots like paint drips tar and pencil and pen marks use a nonabrasive bathtub cleaner or nylon scrub pad. Wipe the area down again with a rag dipped into a bucket of clean water.

Fill a bucket with hot water and either add the cleaner to it or have it ready to go. Peroxide hydrogen peroxide has also been said to work especially at higher strengths. Dip the scrub brush into the bucket of bleach solution and scrub the stained areas gently. Oxygen bleach may remove both oil and water based stain.

For a stronger solution mix together one third cup powdered laundry. Start at the bottom of the stain and work your way to the top. Pour whatever solution remains in the sprayer back in the bucket.
