Insert the screwdriver at the bottom to lift the rollers from the track. Once the door is completely loose from the frame set it aside somewhere safe such as against the side of the house or lying flat on a work bench. Use paintable silicone caulk around the exterior door casing. Your sliding glass will probably have a hole on the side.

Remove the door by pulling it out of the top track of the door frame. Position sheet plastic on the floor of a covered space and two saw horses. If your sliding glass doors don t have the screen door then you may move on to the next step. Place the straw attached to the lubricant into the hole and press the trigger.

Open the door and ask your helper to slightly lift the screen door. Remove this cap because as you ll notice it is covering a gap inside of which is a screw. The door should slide right out of the top track once you ve freed it from the bottom track. Determine the size of the screwdriver you ll need reach back into the gap with your screwdriver and adjust that screw counter clockwise as far as it will go.

Remove the sliding glass door from the track by lifting up pulling the bottom forward and out. You may like my other videos. Cover the foam insulation with trim and add a small amount of caulk to the visible joint between the trim and interior wall area. Look for the hole in the door over the tracks or on the inside of the door.

Place the door horizontal on the saw horses. Just type lsailor1 in the youtube search bar. Use expanding foam insulation to seal any gaps between the door frame and wall. On the bottom edge of the door you ll notice a cap.
